GAVC tours L.U. 597 Pipefitters' Training Facility

Local 597 Pipefitters' Training Facility is the country's largest trade school. Apprentice Coordinator John Leen was kind enough to let all three time blocks visit and tour the enormous center. Boasting 97 welding booths, HVAC and Piping sectors, not to mention the most up to date computer training labs, this was a great sight for all to see. Most students didn't know that Pipefitters had to go through so much training and book work. We had a great time and hope to be there again next year with new students.
