Former GAVC Criminal Justice graduate from the class of 2005 returns to share his first year out of high school experiences with the Criminal Justice Advanced Class. Craig Tuley (pictured above) graduated from high school last year. He is currently working as a police dispatcher for Calumet City. He is also attending Joliet Junior College in pursuit of a Criminal Justice Degree. Officer Tuley intends on pursuing a Law Degree as well. Officer Tuley discussed several topics with the students. He shared how college is different than high school and discussed some of the law-related classes he has taken. He also informed students about the hiring process at the Calumet City Police Department. To close, he shared a few of the experiences he has encountered while working as a dispatcher. Officer Tuley advised students that GAVC provided a good starting point for his higher education and career goals.
