Robot Fabrication

Earlier in the year, Mr. Falbo, (electronics/robotics instructor), came to the welding/fabrication department and asked if we could help with some insight and fabrication of their new surveillance robot. Of course we said sure, and put some of our second year advanced students on the crew. As of now, the entire robot will be constructed out of 6061 aluminum and put together by means of GTAW or more commonly known to non-welding experts as "tig". We will keep you posted as the parts leave the fab shop with pictures and descriptions.
