Nearing the end of Project House #19

The Building Trades Program here at GAVC is getting close to completing project house number 19. We are currently in the bidding process for a custom cherry cabinet package.
The cabinets will be built by by the winner of the bid process but installed by the students. The students are working hard at taking project house 19 and making it into a home. The students are currently busy painting, installing finish lighting, porcelain tile, interior doors, millwork, and hardwood flooring. The students are starting to see what the house will look like when it is finished. These upcoming months will be a really exciting time for the students. They will be able to see a $250,000 project come to completion through their hard work.
We will hold an open house toward the end of May. Here is
just a peak at what is going on at 2435 Indian Grass Road in
Morris.
