Job Certification: High School Certificate (6-12)

Duties: Duties are to instruct beginning high school fire science classes. A strong knowledge of current industry standards and certifications is required.

Qualifications: Preferred candidate will hold Fire Fighter III Certification, current certification as Fire Instructor II or above, minimum of 5 yrs in full-time fire fighting (or equivalent in volunteer or part-time), minimum of 3 yrs teaching experience in Fire Science (college or fire dept. level), and successfully completed Building Construction for the Fire Service course or equivalent.
