Student Organization Cornfest Parade Float

Cornfest Parade Sunday, September 27th, hundreds of people gathered the streets of downtown Morris to watch the parade that contained various different organizations, teams, and clubs from all over Grundy County. Our 2009 Community Awareness Group organized the ideas for our float in the parade. These girls are: Jenni Hayes, Kayla Kellogg, Andrea Phelps, and Calisa McGill. These girls not only organized the float but led the students that helped out in making the float all come together to make the float the best as possible. On Sunday, many of the GAVC students gathered together to ride the float and represent our GAVC chapter. The parade went very well and many people of the community were informed of how to do their part in donating towards the cause that we are raising money and informing the community the importance of: Organ Donation.
