Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSO)

On behalf of student organizations at Grundy Area Vocational Center, we'd like to take a moment to share a brief description of who we are! We are a high school career center that educates students from Morris, Minooka, Gardner-South Wilmington, and Coal City.  Our student organizations are SkillsUSA, Business Professionals of America (BPA), and Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA).

Skills USA offers opportunities for students in Early Childhood, Building Trades, Welding, Automotive, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Computer Maintenance Technology, and many other career-focused areas.  Business Professionals of America enhances career development in entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, management, and computer applications.  Lastly, Health Occupations Students of America provides practical experience in healthcare.  

These student organizations compete at the local, state, and national level for opportunities to win prizes, equipment/materials, and scholarships!
