SPECIAL MEETING
Special meeting of the Grundy Area Vocational Center Board was held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010. The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. by Dr. Pat Halloran, Chairman.
Members Present: Dr. Kent Bugg, Dr. Richard Decman, Dr. Pat Halloran, and Mr. Todd Drafall. Also present were Mr. Lance Copes, Mr. Mark Hulbert, Mrs. Joan Tully and Mr. Cliff Bender and Mr. Scott Rihel of Healy, Bender & Associates, Inc.

ACTION ITEMS
APPROVAL FOR CONSIDERATION AND ACTION ON THE APPROVAL OF THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER OF THE GAVC 2010 ROOFING PROJECT
Mr. Copes recommended the approval of Coleman Roofing as the lowest responsible bidder. Discussion followed. Motion was made by Dr. Bugg and SECONDED by Dr. Decman to accept the Coleman Roofing as lowest responsible bidder for the 2010 Roofing Project. On roll call vote, those voting AYE: Coal City, Morris, Minooka, and Gardner South Wilmington. NAY: None. Motion CARRIED.
APPROVAL OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE GAVC BOARD OF CONTROL AND THE GAVC EDUCATION ASSOCIATION FOR THE ONE TIME DONATION OF SICK LEAVE FROM THE ASSOCIATIONS SICK BANK
Mr. Copes recommended to approve the memorandum of understanding between the GAVC Board of Control and the GAVC Education Association for the one time donation of sick leave from the Association’s sick bank. Motion was made by Dr. Bugg and SECONDED by Mr. Drafall to approve the memorandum of understanding. On roll call vote, those voting AYE: Coal City, Minooka and Morris. NAY: Gardner South Wilmington. Motion CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion was made by Dr. Decman and SECONDED by Mr. Drafall to adjourn the meeting at 2:16 p.m. On voice vote, those voting AYE: All. NAY: None. Motion CARRIED.
