I hope everyone enjoyed their vacation and is excited as I am for the 2010-2011 school year.  I am pleased to be at GAVC as the special populations tutor. This is my first year at GAVC, and I know that this school, students, and faculty will provide me with a rewarding experience, and I will try my best to do the same.

Support Services are offered to students who need a little extra assistance in their vocational class. This service is individualized to fit student needs as outlined by IEP, teacher’s referral, or student referral. Our main goal is to help build students success, assist seniors, and juniors with their future career goals such as, college, resumes, career preparation, or FAFSA completion.

Check back periodically for college (2 or 4 year, trade/technical school, apprenticeship, and Military etc.) deadlines. The idea is to get students to start thinking about a career path before graduation. Preparation is the key to success!  Please feel free to contact me at jjordan@gavc-il.org or at 815-942-4390.
