ASBESTOS NOTIFICATION

The Grundy Area Vocational Center has been inspected for building materials containing asbestos by an accredited Management Inspector. An accredited Management Planner has prepared an Asbestos Management Plan. Copies of the Inspections Report and Management Plan are on file in the Center office and are available for public review during normal business hours. The reports state what asbestos containing materials, if any, have been found and the condition of asbestos. The Management Plan outlines the manner in which the Center directs the asbestos control process.
PEST MANAGEMENT CONTROL

PEST MANAGEMENT CONTROLIntegrated Pest Management control emphasizes inspection, identification, and elimination of conditions in the Center which could cause pests to be a problem. Applications of pest control materials are made only when necessary to eliminate a pest problem. Regular spraying is not part of the pest control program. Parents desiring to receive notification two days in advance of the application of liquid or aerosol pest control materials should complete the Pest Control Notification Form in the main office.
